Info about Hubzilla calendar?

Are there any more resources with info on how to use the calendar in Hubzilla?

(E.g. it seemed there was no way for me to set a time for an event, only the day. I could only do it after someone on Mastodon told me you have to change the calendar view from Month to Day. Info like this is not in that Help page.)

Here’s a quick preview — so you can start using the calendar before I’ve updated the help section — on how to set the time for an event.

To do this, you need to exit the monthly view (only all-day events can be created there) and select, for example, “Week” or “Day” from the dropdown menu. Now, when creating the event (by clicking), you can already preselect the time “roughly.” When you open the event to edit it, expand the view by clicking “more” and you can set the times exactly.

By the way, if you want to add events to a CalDAV calendar (as opposed to the event calendar) the best way is to use an external calendar application and then sync the events to the CalDAV server on your Hubzilla channel.

In this regard, it's also important to know that only events in the event calendar federate. Events in your CalDAV calendars do not federate; they're purely local.
