Doing some housekeeping on my channel, but more thoroughly than usually.
I'm throwing out connections on dead instances, connections that don't follow me anymore which I have to check manually, connections that have moved and, for the first time ever, connections that most likely have fallen silent permanently. I may keep the latter if they're my only connection on a particular instance.
Also, I always keep those within the scope of the primary topic of my channel. I'm mostly clearing out connections that weren't allowed to send me posts anyway.
I've only gone through the letters P to Z and special characters so far, but I think I've already thrown out some 10% of my connections. When I'm done, I may be under 500 again, perhaps even under 400.
Still, this won't get me closer to the number of connections that
actually follow me, as in they take notice of my posts.
