When you click on the link (see image), the channel changes. However, I have the feeling that Hubzilla often ‘swallows’ it, and when I post, the channel that was originally called up suddenly appears as the sender.

I have seen this with specific channels. They get stuck and won't let you change to another channel. If you log out and log back in as a different user, it solves the problem.

I have observed this too, logging out and re-logging in solves this but it happens again after some time.

I am familiar with this issue and suspected that it was caused by the setting that displayed the channels to switch between in the main menu. After changing the setting and switching channels via the ‘manage’ page, the error no longer occurred.
However, I have since reactivated the option everywhere after noticing that the error no longer occurs.
I don't know what caused it or why the error has not occurred again (for quite some time now).

Interesting. I will have to try that out. I have specific channels that always force themselves to be the active channel. This would be a good test to see if that resolves it.
