If I'm getting this right, the only current supported way to attach images is to pick them up from your "storage"..
What if I want, say, share a screenshot? Why can't I just copy paste it in the editor? You know, uploading every image before you can actually send it is a bit tedious..

There is an add-on for this purpose, developed by Admin, which I am making available on his behalf in my add-on repository: pasteimage.

The add-on is not required if you are using the Solidified theme. In that theme, copy/paste from the clipboard and drag-and-drop from the file manager work anyway.

The add-ons all work with Hubzilla >= 11.x.

You can use the paperclip icon to directly attach a file while editing, also drag and drop a file into the editor window should work.
