Channel datasource posts not syncing?
Folks, on my primary channel I use a channel datasource to import my external blogs rss feed and reshare this content as posts. Shouldn't these be synced to remote clones too? Or doesn't it work like that?

No, you have to establish the connection separately for the clones (‘not connected at this location’). Only /Zot/Nomad channels are automatically connected and thus synchronised, because only these support the nomadic identity.

Oh, so there's a difference whether I post to a channel "manually" or whether I use the RSS channel source to post to the channel "as me" (because, looking at the posts, they don't seem different). It's not a problem to set that up but it feels slightly unexpected...

Sorry... I misunderstood you. I thought it was about RSS contacts (for these, what I wrote applies), but you meant RSS as a channel source for your channel. I'll have to see if there's anything else I need to set up... but I'm not aware of anything at the moment.

Ah, no problem, sorry if that wasn't clear. I use an RSS channel as a channel source and explicitely set to send posts from there with my channel as author (using de_DE Hubzilla, unsure what the actual English text for this is). My main channel is z428@zotum.net (which has all these posts), the "main clone" is z428@hub.netzgemeinde.eu - which doesn't.

i notices this too: this kind of re-shared posts show up at the /channel page but are NOT distributed to clones

I haven't used this yet. How are the posts from a channel source posted? As a repeat or as a share?
