Hi!

I've set up a new channel, https://hub.netzgemeinde.eu/channel/agorafedicat, but I forget, at first, set it as "Public". Just after created, I've changed its type from personal to Public but I've seen its entries are published, by default, as not "open" but restricted to "Friends" group and, for example, I can not boost them.

I wonder how can I change this behavior (maybe deleting the channel and creating another with the same name?) and I wonder if it's a bug.

So I've installed it and "Post to this group by default" is not enabled because, in fact, there is no group created.

so under /group

seceded the group "Friends" and deselect "Post to this group by default"

This seems to come up a lot. For people who don't have the privacy groups enabled, setting it to public should change the settings automatically.

For people who do have privacy groups enabled, maybe we need to add some functionality that reminds them that their default posts still go to a certain group and ask if they want to change that.

Perhaps a widget could be created that is empty unless there is a question like this and if there is, a message comes up asking what settings they want.
