Bug202507081201 channel profile edit confusion
Create channels.
In list of channels, there is no option in the account drop menu, to view/edit channel, only view, edit profile

That makes perfect sense. When you use Hubzilla, you use it with one channel. The main menu allows you to view or edit the profiles of your channel (the one you are currently using Hubzilla with). It also offers channel management and settings.
‘Channels’, i.e. channel management, is used to switch channels or create a new one. So where's the problem? The main menu simply uses a flat menu structure. However, the few menu items are clear enough. If I want to do something with the channels (i.e. switch or create a new one), I click on ‘Channels’ in the menu. Logical! The only thing that is a little inconsistent for me is this: When I am in channel management, I can switch channels by selecting them or create a new channel by clicking on a button. It would make sense if there was also a button next to each channel in the list of available channels that allows you to delete the channel (this is inconsistent because you have to go to Settings -> Channel settings to do this). I will suggest that in a feature request.

This is wrong; there is option to create multiple channels and multiple profiles.

‘
You use it with one channel
’ meant that you work with only one channel on the interface, namely the currently selected channel. If you switch channels, you work with exactly one other channel.
